OPEN PRAYER SPACES

OPS is the Fayette County, Georgia chapter of 24-7 Prayer, a global movement of non-stop prayer, mission and justice. We believe that honest prayer fosters intimacy with God and awakens us to live missionally.

we are

But we can’t do it alone.

At Open Prayer Spaces, we believe prayer is the starting place for mission and justice. We create sacred space where God awakens hearts, fuels purpose, and equips ordinary people—like you—for extraordinary impact.

Join the movement. Step into prayer. Step into mission.

We want to see real change in the world—justice awakened, communities healed, and lives transformed.

Their shared conviction brought them together, and what began as a simple act of obedience sparked something greater.

In March 2024, seven people from different churches gathered with one purpose—to pray. Their desire was clear: to see God unite churches across our community in prayer and to believe for transformation through His presence.

Trusting God to lead, they began meeting monthly—hosting prayer and worship nights in different locations around Fayette County. With each gathering, faith grew, connections deepened, and the vision continued to unfold.

This August (2025), we had representation of over 27 churches represented at our Gathering, Campuses Covered, praying blessings on every campus in Fayette County to launch the school year.

It started with two women—almost strangers—each sensing the same quiet call: to pray for a House of Prayer for the Nations in our community.

Mary Frances is married to her best friend, Dick, and has two dynamic sons, Matt and Paul and 2 amazing daughters-in-law, Mandy and Lindsay. She is the “MiMi” to seven precious grandchildren. She enjoys gardening, hiking, and kayaking with Dick and spending time with Cal, Rett, Sam, Lucy, Judson, Will, and Rosie.

Mary Frances is blessed to be a part of praying over our community through Open Prayer Spaces. She can’t wait to see God exceed our wildest expectations for Fayette County and beyond!
